The structure conventionally referred to as a gymnasium or forum, dates back to the late Roman era. It features a main courtyard with various chambers on every side. Entry to the building was via a modestly sized propylon. While the specific function of this structure remains unclear, the unearthing of a statue depicting Emperor Tiberius within its confines suggests its construction in the first century CE.
